Yeah! I am very happy to announce that my photo “Dear God” was accepted to this national juried exhibit to be held at the Loading Dock Gallery in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The show entitled: Alienation: The World As It Is Or Should Be will run August 31 – September 25, 2016 with an Opening Reception Saturday, September 10th from 5-7 pm. The jurors made their choices for the exhibition from 370 artworks submitted by 147 artists nationwide.
Art exhibit manager Garry Harley conceived of the exhibit topic and says, “At this time of world-wide political unrest and regional conflict, mass migration of refugees, ISIS, political debate over immigration and a heated presidential campaign, the Loading Dock Gallery will take on this serious subject.” Harley says “artists were invited to submit work that depicts the state or experience of being isolated, detached, estranged, OR the counterpoint of alienation which is harmony and inclusion.” For more information, call 978-656-1687 or visit theloadingdockgallery.com.
