Gratefully, I was selected to present some of my work in the current group. I am including mosaic cityscapes of Boston. New York, and Italy as well as mosaic animal portraits and a school of fish. A portion of sales supports the association’s work. Work may be viewed Dec 11 – Feb 29, 2024.

Continue Reading →I have seen most of the work accepted to this juried exhibition and it is spectacular. I look forward to seeing it hung. A range of styles, materials, and subjects provide lots of eye candy for art lovers and makers. The Juried Exhibition 2019 runs June 1 – June 27, 2019 with a reception June 8, 3:00-5:30 pm. Continue Reading →The 2018 Member Exhibit of the New England Mosaic Society hosted a reception Sunday, Feb 25th to rave reviews and crowds. Visitors to the opening witnessed an amazing variety of mosaics, some using traditional methods and materials, while others incorporated shells and materials from modern life. My personal favorite was this triptych called Pondscape Dreams by created by Roberta Tobey-Gertz.
Saw this great article on Houzz site regarding ideas for using tile to spice up homes. Though not specifically on mosaics, it is inspiring nevertheless.
